Choose a wine visit with a clear location, duration, language and tasting programme. You do not need prior knowledge to ask useful questions.

What to ask before booking
A vineyard walk, cellar tour and tasting are different activities. Ask what is included, walking time, terrain, access arrangements and total price. A translated website does not guarantee guided visits in every language.
For a group, give the number of participants and access requirements relevant to planning without unnecessary medical details. Confirm the meeting point and bad-weather arrangements.
First tasting references
Look at the colour, smell without searching for technical words and describe a few simple impressions. If tasting, small quantities and a spittoon let you compare without swallowing. You can take part in learning without drinking alcohol.
Ask about grapes, vintage, winemaking and storage. Vocabulary develops through observation; it is not an examination.
In the vineyard
Ask before leaving the path, touching vines or picking grapes. Wear suitable shoes and follow the estate’s instructions. A working vineyard is an agricultural workplace.
Arrange your return journey before tasting and keep an alcohol-free option. The organiser should explain which activities are available to minors.
Wine and truffle discovery
Our Visits page presents the truffle grove experience. Confirm the programme, any tasting and available languages with the House. The Breaks page helps plan your visit; accommodation and transport are not presented as included.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health. Please drink responsibly.
