Choose a shared outing or individual places

A collective outing brings the group together on an agreed date and qualifies for group pricing. Individual gift places offer more freedom but need their own validity and booking terms. Choose the format before comparing prices.

For twenty colleagues or more, share your group size and preferred date to attend together. The team confirms hosting, staffing and arrangements for the truffle hunt and tasting before booking.

Budget for the whole outing

At La Truffe française, ten places cost €850 including tax, twenty €1,600 and thirty €2,370. Other group sizes and large groups receive a tailored quotation. The programme lasts three hours and includes truffle hunting discovery and tasting; arrangements are confirmed for your group.

A worked example excluding transport and an additional meal: for thirty places at €79, a hypothetical staff committee contribution of €60 per place totals €1,800. Participants pay €19 each, or €570 in total. The two shares add up to the €2,370 service price. The €60 is a calculation assumption, not a funding or tax-exemption rule. The organiser checks its scheme with its usual adviser.

Prepare for everyone’s visit

Choose a period within black truffle season and suggest an alternative date. Confirm the hosting language, meeting point, terrain access, suitable footwear and arrangements for bad weather. A harvest is never guaranteed.

Share practical access requirements without medical records or an employee name list for the initial quotation. Mention dietary requirements and minors. An alcohol-free option accompanies the tasting; wine is for adults aged eighteen and over.

Request a usable quotation

Adapt this enquiry: ‘We are planning a shared outing for 30 people. Could you suggest two dates during the season? We would arrive by coach and would like a workshop in English. Please confirm the drop-off point, route, total price including tax and rescheduling or cancellation terms.’ Add your contact details and access or dietary needs. Coach access and hosting language require confirmation before booking.

Participants may buy truffles harvested during their session at €900/kg, subject to availability, up to 100 g per person and with a €50 minimum purchase. This is separate from admission and does not promise a quantity to each visitor.

Explain the activity to participants

In the invitation, describe the real search with dogs, explanations and tasting. Allow three hours for the full programme and specify footwear. Distinguish admission, any staff committee subsidy and optional purchases. This helps people choose with an understanding of the terrain, without expecting guaranteed take-home truffles.

Compare quotations without missing group costs

1. Use the same group size and duration. Ask for a tax-inclusive total and distinguish tasting, meal and drinks. A three-hour activity does not mean a full lunch is included.
2. Confirm coach drop-off and parking before paying a transport deposit. A meeting address does not establish coach access.
3. Before staff register, obtain written confirmation of date, hosting language, final headcount deadline and rescheduling or cancellation terms. Keep optional individual purchases separate.
