What should visitors know before a truffle hunt?
Wear closed shoes suitable for damp or uneven ground and clothing for the weather. The workshop includes around an hour of walking and explanations are in French only. Discuss access needs before booking. Use the meeting point provided with your confirmation; in heavy rain, another date is agreed together at no extra charge.

Before booking
Before choosing a date, think about everyone joining you: children, walking comfort and understanding French. Hunting takes place in winter, from 15 November to 15 March as conditions allow. Send your party size and two possible dates; we prepare the programme and quotation before confirming the session.
Footwear, clothing and terrain
Bring closed shoes that grip on wet or uneven ground and a warm or waterproof layer for the weather. The visit involves about an hour walking in the grove. If you have particular access needs, discuss them with us before booking so we can check the route together.
On the day
Use the meeting point provided with your confirmation rather than an address in an old review. Arrive at the agreed time for the introduction. Follow the team’s instructions: you search with Lala and can help lift a truffle when one is located. The three hours include the welcome, discovery, search and tasting; search time depends on the day's conditions.
Tasting and optional purchases
Mention dietary requirements relevant to the tasting. Wine is for adults and an alcohol-free alternative is available. Truffles and bottles are paid for separately. Buying harvested truffles depends on availability and the offer's terms; plan your budget without assuming a guaranteed take-home weight.
Weather, language and confirmation
All explanations are in French, including for private groups. In heavy rain we agree another date together at no extra charge. Keep our confirmation handy: it gives the time and precise meeting point, shared privately.
