Truffle hunting and purchases: what the €99 covers

Your ticket is for the workshop

During winter, you follow the dogs’ search, watch the handler’s work and talk with the growers. The individual price for three hours of truffle hunting is €99 per person including tax. Visit enquiries are welcome throughout the year, every day, for up to 40 people including children. Visits are cancelled in case of rain. We first prepare a quotation based on your group size, dates and the season. After you accept the quotation, the House confirms the appointment. Wait for that confirmation before travelling; an enquiry alone does not reserve places. Discounted group pricing is determined after you contact us, according to group size and programme. The quotation confirms the total including tax before booking.

The ticket does not include truffles to take home. Truffles and wine bottles are optional purchases. You can enjoy the entire session without buying any products afterwards.

If you want to buy 60 g after the hunt

The participant rate for an on-site purchase is €45 including VAT per 50 g of truffles harvested during the session, subject to availability. For 60 g: 45 × 60 ÷ 50 = €54 including VAT. Adding a place at the €99 individual reference price gives an indicative budget of €153 including VAT. A visit quotation is still required; without that purchase, you pay only for the workshop.

The minimum truffle purchase is €50 including VAT, with a limit of 100 g per participant. Note the distinction: 50 g at the participant rate costs €45 including VAT and falls below the minimum. The 60 g in our example exceeds it. Booking the workshop does not reserve any weight; the harvest may not provide enough for that purchase.

For a group, separate the quotation from personal purchases

The group workshop total is set in the accepted quotation for your party size and season. There is no automatic discount schedule. If a participant then buys 60 g of truffles for €54 including VAT, that purchase remains separate from the group bill. Budget separately for transport and any separately arranged meal. Request the quotation before announcing a price to participants.

Come for the experience, buy for the kitchen

At the public starting price of €60 including VAT per 50 g of truffles only, 100 g costs €120 including VAT, excluding delivery. At the participant rate it costs €90 including VAT, a €30 difference in this example. That difference does not cover a €99 place.
